This is a pattern for a bead crochet necklace that is quite striking in its appearance. The placement of the beads of different sizes, as they are placed, gives this necklace a dimensionality not often seen in a crocheted rope necklace. Only three different colors are needed for this necklace. It is crocheted 12-around, and finished with the invisible join. However, if you would like to finish it with a clasp, there are instructions contained within the pattern for that.
