Miranda Tam
Miranda Tam was inspired by the 1960s and the unrivaled celebration of color.
This particular floral design is based on an Art
Nouveau Window that I sketched a copy of and
then modified to fit the shape of the tam.

[MC] Cascade Yarns, Cascade 220 Sport 100%
merino wool; 164yds/50g; color #8010 Natural,
1 skein
[CC] Crystal Palace Yarns, Mini Mochi 80%
merino wool, 20% nylon; 195yds/50g; color #316
Equinox, 1 skein
1 US #2/2.75mm 16” circular needle
1 US #4/3.5mm 16” circular needle
1 set US#4/3.5mm double pointed needles
Tapestry needle, embroidery needle, stitch marker,
‘Solvy’ dissolvable stabilizer, black marker, straight
pins, 11” diameter dinner plate for blocking.
GAUGE
17sts/32 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on larger
needle after blocking
PATTERN NOTES
The Vertical Stripes Pattern and the i-cord loop are
worked with the CC striping yarn held double, you
may want to wind this ball into two separate balls for
ease of knitting.
