This quick knit was inspired by my niece who wanted a headband with a bow motif in the front.

This project can be completed in one sitting, though joining both ends with the kitchener stitch will take some concentration in order finish with no visible seam—with a mix of knit and purl stitches. I have included abbreviated step by step instructions for working this join.

The headband size can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of small cable repeats.

Other than yarn and needles, materials include a cable needle, darning needle, stitch markers, and scrap yarn for the provisional cast on.
