The Mira Socks are knitted top-down while simultaneously shaping the heel. The pattern describes the Heel Flap & Gusset, but you can also knit a different heel if you feel more comfortable with it and are able to adjust the pattern accordingly. After the heel, the foot is knit in pattern, and finally, the toe is shaped. The socks are worked using the Magic Loop technique, but you can also use double-pointed needles or a short circular needle.
