A written pattern for a knitted lace collar, suitable to be worn with your favourite outfit. Ideal for an intermediate skill knitter with the option of an advanced skill cast on and bind off, the pattern incorporates short rows for shaping and lace techniques. Pattern contains helpful hints and clear descriptions of all abbreviations and techniques used.

You will need:

  • 3.75mm needles (or size required to obtain gauge)
  • 4.5mm needles
  • 1-2 x 50g ball DK yarn (I used Sirdar Juicy DK, 95m/103yds per 50g, 80% bamboo sourced viscose 20% cotton). The quantity needed depends on the desired length of final collar. A collar with nine repeats of the pattern used slightly more than one ball, a collar with eight repeats used just under one ball.
