Miró is a tribute to the work of Catalan artist Miró. I have chosen to use simple shapes and techniques, bright primary colours and bold black lines, for my knitting to be as close as possible to his painting. I have named the 3 sections of the shawl after 3 of his paintings that I have found particularly inspiring: “L’oro dell’ azzurro”, “Paisaje catalán”, “El canto del ruiseñor a media noche y la lluvia matinal”.

Miró es un homenaje al artista catalán Miró. He utilizado una forma simple, técnicas sencillas, colores primarios intensos y líneas gruesas negras, para que el resultado se parezca lo más posible a su estilo. Los nombres de las tres secciones del chal se corresponden con tres de sus obras que encuentro especialmente inspiradoras: “L’oro dell’ azzurro”, “Paisaje catalán”, “El canto del ruiseñor a media noche y la lluvia matinal”.
