The Mirror Pond Beanie is a quick, super bulky knit project that is suitable for advanced beginners. The pattern includes a bonus matching headband pattern. A matching beanie pattern is available separately.

Both a cowl and a beanie can be made with two skeins of Malabrigo Rasta (two different colors are needed). Other yarns may vary in yardage so may or may not make a cowl and beanie set with two skeins.

Pattern is written for child and adult sizing and can be easily adjusted by adding of removing sets of four stitches. It is knit in the round and uses the star stitch for part of the pattern. Two different colors are needed.

There is an option to add a second yarn in worsted or light bulky to the star stitch rounds, this can add an additional subtle layer of interest.
