Misdirection Cowl
The Misdirection Cowl is an Intermediate level knit design but has the adventurous newbie in mind.
A twisted stitch lovers dream, this pattern is split into easy to follow sections and is accompanied by written directions as well as, picture and video tutorials.
Materials:
-1 skein of DK weight yarn with a minimum of 200 yrds.
My samples were done using Fuzzywhatknots Fuzzy DK and Fuzzy Fingering 75/25 held double.
-removable/locking stitch marker
-scissors
-tapestry needle

Mode knit yarn dk sarracenia. 100g=231yds. 87g used.
Eden Cottage Yarns, Pendle DK in Cedar and Snowy Owl
87g (201 yds) of Buxom Cat Knits Yummy Tweed DK in Briar Rose, 231yds/100g
Cozy Color Works Superwash Merino DK, it’s plied but doesn’t say how many plies, I used approx 200.2yd
Fuzzywhatnots Dk (Healing) and Ritual Dyes dk priestess (Iron), less than 250 yds each
Schoeller und Stahl Klassik 50 g/140 m 3 ply - 1½ balls
Alpacas from Fairfax Station. 225 yds, 3.5 oz, 3ply, 80%alpaca 20%merino
Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light, DK weight, 2 ply (sorry about this), 197 yards (68g)
Beige cowl: Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca DK 125 yards/50 grams (1.5).
Green cowl: Tina’s Toasty Toes 231 yards / 100 grams 60% SW Merino wool 20% Silk 20% Yak. 4 ply color Lichen
The Crochet Cove, Easy Fingering 75% Super Wash Merino 25% Nylon, 415 yards/100g, 3 ply,
Malabrigo Rios Worsted 210 yd/hundred gram
Louisiana Yarn Guys, Highland DK, 100% SW Merino, 196 Yards used from a 231 skein
The Yarn Shop @ Alma Park Squish DK in Concord Grape 8 ply, 274 yds/100g
