You can wear it upside down if you like. I would still be a shrug, but now with a cowl. Or a hem, depending on how you were wearing it in the first place.
You can wrap it around your neck, or chest.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) equals 37 (38) 42 (44) 45 (46) cm cross back.

The shrug is worked sleeve to sleeve and the hem (or collar) is worked in later. No seams!
