Product Details
If you’re a fan of the hit 90s show The Nanny starring Fran Drescher, you’ll love making this pattern inspired by her rainbow mohair sweater (pictured). Hey, even if you didn’t/don’t watch the show, you’ll love the soft feel of this brightly coloured piece as you work through it. Please note: pattern comes in PDF format.

Difficulty level: intermediate knitter

About

This sweater is worked in double-strand from the hem up to the underarm, then front and back worked separately and joined at the shoulders with Kitchener stitch. Stitches are then picked up at the sides for the sleeves and worked down to the cuffs. Turtleneck is worked by picking up stitches from the neckline and worked up in rib stitch.

Sizes

76 (82, 86, 91, 97, 102, 107, 112, 117, 122, 127) cm

All sizes are based on the bust circumference, while the finished pattern includes positive ease of 3 cm. For example, if your bust circumference is 112 cm, you would knit the 112 cm size but the finished bust circumference would be 115 cm. Model in photo above is 1.65m tall and wearing the 97cm pattern.

Gauge

In stockinette, after blocking
25 sts/35 rounds = 10cm X 10cm
