Have you seen “Miss Fisher’s Mystery Murders”, you can imagine an elegant Lady dressed in unique, wearable clothes with a personal twist. I have tried to capture this in this Cardigan, which belongs to the collection of Magazine Duett’s “Captain Haddock/Fisherman’s blues”. It is a year round jacket. It looks just as good at Christmas celebrations in front of the fireplace as in the summer. It is a Cardigan for both the marina and as something to put over your shoulders, when the night chill is creeping up. It is knitted from bottom up, front and back in one piece, with a few assembly stitches. The chart pattern with two colours, is an example of mosaic knitting, which means to knit with one color at a time. Two rows with each color with lifted stiches of the other color in the chart. Very easy and fun!

Knitting needles: Circular and double pointed needles size 4 and circular needle 4.5 for the charted part.
Gauge: 21 m and 31 v/10 cm in stockinette stitch with needle 4.
The pattern is written for knitting back and forth, but in one piece. The sleeves, mostly knitted in the round, are integrated by the armhole, and the raglan part is also knitted in one piece. The sleeves are for the most part knitted in the round.

Har man sett ”Miss Fisher’s Mystery Murders”, så kan man tänka sig en elegant dam klädd i unika, lättburna kläder med en personlig twist. Det har jag försökt fånga i denna kofta, som hör till Magasin Duetts kollektion Kapten Haddok/ Fishermans blues. Det är en riktig åretruntkofta. Den passar lika bra vid julfirandet framför brasan som till sommarkofta för såväl bryggliv som något att lägga över axlarna när nattkylan smyger sig på. Det är en kofta stickad nerifrån och upp, fram och tillbaka, med få sömmar. Mönstret med två färger är ett exempel på mosaikstickning, vilket betyder att man stickar med en färg i taget. Två varv med vardera färgen och så lyfter man maskorna med den andra färgen. Mycket enkelt och roligt.

Mönstret är skrivet för stickning fram- och tillbaka, men i ett stycke och ärmar som integreras vid ärmhålet, så att raglanpartiet också stickas i ett stycke. Ärmarna är till största delen rundstickade.
