Miss March's Knitted Bandages
inspired by Louisa May Alcott’s work as a nurse during the Civil War, I found a number of references to charity stitchers “rolling bandages” for the war effort. I designed a knitted bandage roll secured by a simple button closure. I thought that young children who enjoy playing hospital with their dolls would appreciate the smallest one.
