This pattern was inspired by Miss Morland, the heroine in Jane Austen’s novel, Northanger Abbey. I sought to create a scarf that was simple enough for everyday, yet elegant enough to wear to the theatre.

Knitting skills used in this pattern: knit, purl, knit two together, and yarn over.

Finished piece measures 4.5” wide by 41.5” long. Use this size as a guideline, but feel free to adjust the pattern as you see fit.
