Miss Prim's Roses for Adults
“Miss Prim’s Roses” is a fitted raglan top with very little ease. It hugs the collar for a modest look that can be altered easily by going up half a hook size. It is worked top down and uses the primrose stitch which is constructed over two rounds. The base round of single crochet and chain stitches makes way for the second round of decorative clusters, creating a beautiful piece. The pattern is split into three parts. You will begin building the yoke, then split the yoke and continue building the body until another increase at the hip. The sleeves are added at the end. Working this piece is fun and you will enjoy the repetition of the rounds as they build on each other. Please visit my blog ( knottiehooks.com/blog ) where I take you deep inside this pattern and give you more ideas for adjusting size and customizing the fit of the piece
