Miss Sakamoto
“Good heavens, Miss Sakamoto! You’re beautiful!” shouts Magnus Pyke in Thomas Dolby’s 1982 hit “She Blinded Me With Science.” The double-knit Miss Sakamoto is more jewelry than scarf, but it will add a little extra warmth to a formal outfit when the chilly weather comes. Wear it as a scarf, head-wrap, belt, or sash, as the mood strikes you. Bead accents and tassels at each end will make you feel beautiful, too. Beads are added with a crochet hook - no pre-stringing necessary!
Yarn Shown: KnitPicks Stroll Tonal, 1 skein each Deep Waters and Pearlescent
Beads: 328 Seed Beads. Shown: Matsuno Dyna-Mites, size 6/0, color Cobalt Blue with silver lining, 40g, 1 pkg; Darice Jewelry Designer 2002-30 6/0) BV Metallic Asst E Beads, 100 g, 1 pkg.
For extra oomph, make it a set with the "She Blinded Me With Science" purse (available separately). One skein of each color is plenty for both projects, with almost a third of each skein left over.
