This Faroese-shaped shawl is cast on at the back neck and shaped with the use of yarn-over increases at the center back and edges of the shawl. Overall floral motifs in the body of the shawl give way to a knit-on floral lace edging.

This shawl was knit with a lightweight fingering weight/heavy laceweight yarn with 825 yards/150 g skeins. However, it may be knit using a fingering weight yarn with 400 yards/100 g skeins. You will need a total of 800 yards to complete the shawl as written.

Skills Needs: Increase/decreases, chart reading (the lace patterns are not written out), understanding of working a knit-on edging.
