Mission Mitts

These quick to knit basic mitts are best when knit with a lightly worsted loosely spun yarn and smaller needles, for a full and cozy effect. Lang Yarn’s Yak is my favorite yarn for these, as it is lightweight, almost as soft as cashmere, and machine washable! Great for guys.
I used the magic loop technique but it is easily worked on double points or with two circular needles.
I recommend the Long-tail or Tubular cast-on methods for a stretchy cuff edge and Suspended bind off .
