This pattern was inspired by the mitten patterns in Charlene Schurch’s Mostly Mittens.

Finished Size 9” ankle circumference, 10” from back of heel to tip of toe (slightly stretched). Heel depth can be adjusted by increasing/decreasing the number of rows in the flap- this will alter the number of gusset rows on each side of the heel.

Yarn 4 skeins total of Knitpicks Stroll Fingering, 2 MC and 2 CC.

Needles Size 1½ (2.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
