Mistral is an easy-to-make hat that is perfect for cold winter days! It’s knit with two strands of gradient fingering weight yarn.
You could also use a strand of fingering weight yarn and a strand of mohair to get a really fluffy and cozy hat.
The pattern is explained two ways: worked flat and worked in the round.

Yarn
2 Estelle Twin Socks (75% wool, 25% nylon, 200m / 220yds per 50g)
or approx. 400 m of fingering weight yarn.

Needles
Size US 4 (3.5mm) and US 7 (4,5mm)

Gauge
Pattern: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 4” x 4”
