Mistral Wrist Warmers
A few weeks ago my husband and I had a weekend getaway in beautiful Mendocino and I was fortunate to stumble upon the best knitting store I have been in this year!
The shop had a basket filled with Mistral yarn and I wanted to be all cat-like and crawl in and take a nap. I couldn’t wait to get started on something with this yarn, and in the end decided on these wrist warmers / fingerless mitts.
They are warm and cuddly and I don’t want to take them off. Because I couldn’t find a size 35 circ needle or double points they are seamed and honestly threading the stuff onto a yarn needle was the biggest challenge in their construction. The button is purely decorative and there is no need for a thumb hole, just slide it through anywhere.
It’s a fun project, I was literally done in 45 minutes including pics. Hope you have a chance to make them for yourself or maybe as a quick gift.
Yarn purchased at Mendocino Yarn Shop.
