Misty Morning Vest
Playing with gradients should be an exercise in fun! Though you can choose to use whatever color combinations you like, there’s always something soothing about using a combination that fades from one color to another.
This vest is worked in one piece from the bottom up, and divided at the armholes to work the fronts and back separately. With a contrasting darker color used to anchor the edges, the other colors are changed every time one of the 6-row peerie patterns is worked. A 3-row slip stitch pattern is worked at the center of every section between the peerie patterns. Moss stitch edges the bottom of the vest, while narrow bands of garter edge the front/neck and armhole edges. And Three-Needle BO is used to join the shoulders.
