Misty Mountain Sweater
The Misty Mountain Sweater is a fun, quick, stash busting sweater that works up in no time. This pattern was designed with all of your sad scrap worsted yarn in mind. You know, that labelless yarn that haunts you as it sits there with no purpose? Use it. Instead of yardage estimates, I’ve given weight estimates in grams. Throw that yarn on a scale and use it up.
The color combinations are endless, or you could even do a solid color scheme as well.
There’s approximately 4” of positive ease written into the pattern for a comfy look with good drape, BUT BLOCKING IS A MUST FOR THIS ONE! Linen/moss stitch demands to be blocked, it shrinks up as you’re working. If you don’t block, it won’t fit!
Pattern is graded according to CYC standard guideline to accommodate busts 30”-62” and is written as follows: XS(S,M,L)(XL,2X,3X,4X,5X)
Instructions included for some customization tips, and pattern comes with a resource guide with more photos and videos of the process along the way to help you out.
Sweater uses approximately 490(510,535,580)(660,690,791,805,890) GRAMS of worsted weight yarn. This number may change depending on any customizations you implement into your finished object.
Gauge info:
4” x 4” = 14 sts x 14 rows linen (sometimes called moss stitch) with a 6mm hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Gauge swatch is measured BLOCKED.
