The Misty Wave Baby Blanket is a beautiful knitting pattern consisting of knit, purl, yarn over, slip stitches, knit together and purl together stitches. Video links are provided if needed.

Different weighted yarns can be used for this baby blanket. Please note that if you should use different yarn or different weighted yarn, the measurements might differ. Adjust your material requirements accordingly.

This pattern can be adjusted in width by adding or reducing the amount of stitches, as indicated in the pattern.

Calculating the width as per the gauge as indicated, each multiple set of stitches as mentioned in the pattern, added or subtracted, will add or reduce approximately 8.5cm/3.3 inches to the overall width of this blanket.

• Just to note that the self tested gauge of this specific ball of Bernat Baby Sport yarn used was different to the gauge indicated on the yarn label. Using 4mm needles, the sample came in at 19 sts = 10cm but is indicated on the label as 22 sts = 10cm

The length of the baby blanket can also be adjusted to your desired length by repeating the pattern stitch rows as set out in the pattern until you reach your desired length.
