Misu the sloth
This is a .pdf crochet pattern, written in standard American crochet terms. With this very easy pattern, you can make a super cute and realistic looking sloth plushy.
Size of finished animal
Sitting made with worsted weight yarn: 5.2 inch / 13 cm.
The crochet pattern contains
An intro with useful info. List of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials
You’ll need at least three main colours, I used five: murky brown (1/3 of a 100 yard skein), beige (leftover bit), dark brown (leftover bit), oatmeal (claws, leftover bit) and black brown for the nose and mouth (leftover bit). For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: 1420, 0086, 0867, 1419, 0052.
Yarn
Istex Lett lopi. I strongly recommend using a fuzzy yarn because it gives the best result.
Gauge is unimportant for this pattern. If the pieces are crocheted tightly enough, they will not gape visibly when stuffed. You can make a little test swap to be sure.
