Was soll es werden ein Schal oder ein Cowl…oder beides? Das Muster hat Ecken und Kanten. Die Redewendung steht aber auch für Individualität, Ehrlichkeit und Selbstverwirklichung, was zu vielen von uns Strickern passt. Wir haben eben alle unsere Ecken und Kanten.
Merino single Beispiel: Valentina Wollante 70 % Wolle / 30% Seide oder Qitura Rose 75% Wolle/25% Seide, Lauflänge: 100g / 600 m. 3,5 mm Rundstricknadel, verwendete Länge 80 cm; 2 Maschenmarkierer. Garn in Sockenwollstärke (100g / 420m) kann auch verwendet werden.
What would you like to knit a shawl or a cowl … or both. The English translation is „with corners and edges”. You will find these on your pattern. But “mit Ecken und Kanten“ is also a German Phrase. It’s the rough edges and flaws that make a person what she/he is, hits the meaning.
Merino single for the example: Valentina Wollante or Qitura Rose (75% wool/25% silk; approx. 100g / 600 m), circular knitting needle 3.5 mm/US4 (used length: 80 cm / 32‘‘), 2 marker. You can use also fingering yarn.
