Lion Brand Notes:
The construction of the Front is a bit unusual. The Front begins at the lower edge, then is worked upwards. Sts are cast on each end of the row. Decreases are worked across the Front to create decorative diagonal lines of eyelets. The decreases also cause the cast-on sts to lie at a 90 degree angle to the center section of the Top, and the Ridge pattern to form mitered ridges.
