This is a pattern for a knit shawl that features a beautiful single cable lace stitch that come to us from Japan. The focal stitch is an intricate and unique cable lace stitch that makes quite a statement. They symbols used in the chart are the ones that are familiar to Western knitters.

There are also instructions contained within the pattern for an optional crocheted edging.

The stitch is both charted and written out line by line.
