This pattern starts off with a cable cast-on, then work in 1x1 ribbing, with a Latvian braid. Then the stranded color work section is worked for 22 regular rounds. In the 23rd round, thumb shaping begins. At round 33 thumb stitches are moved to waste yarn. and the remainder of the chart is worked in the round followed by a second Latvian braid and 1x1 rib before bind off.

Once the hand portion of the fingerless mitt is complete, you will place the stitches from the waste yarn back onto your needles. Pick up 3 additional stitches and knit in the round for 7 more rounds.
