Baby Jess needed a pair of mittens, the original pair started with a fairisle pattern, but the threads inside the gloves would catch on her little fingers - so a lining for the gloves was added. The pattern has been simplified to a plain exterior.

The gloves are one size (newborn to 6 months) and after blocking are 5 and 1/4 inches long.

The pattern is written, with a few photos to help guide, and has an i-cord cast on. The gloves are knitted from the bottom-up in the round, then stitches are picked up from the bottom and a lining is added by knitting in the round.
