I had an idea to try to design a jumper and hat set which only used double crochet but in some unusual ways; Mixed Doubles is the result! This is a textured jumper and hat set that makes up quickly and is fun to crochet.

The pattern includes a jumper and hat and comes in five different sizes. The pattern includes a printing guide so that you can print out only the pages you need to use.

The pattern is written using US terms but measurements are included in both imperial (inches/yards) and metric terms (cm/metres).

The jumper is crocheted top-down with a round yoke. The body is crocheted in one piece and the sleeves and neck trim are then added. The only sewing required is to sew in your loose ends!

This design includes options for lengthening or shortening the body and/or sleeves and length of the hat, and for opting for a looser or more relaxed fit at the waist, cuffs and neck.
