This shawl is a play with fringes of different lengths — some are embedded into the crescent-shaped main part of the shawl, the others hang freely in generous waves. However you like to drape it, close to the neck or loosely wrapped, it will always make you look spectacular!

I find a special charm in bringing different fibers together in one project, especially when those fibers have the same dye. In this shawl I showcase Voie de Vie’s Tomato Marmelade colorway once in vivid red on soft merino and more subtly red on fluffy mohair.

The shawl is worked with slip stitches, using hooks in two sizes. The pattern includes tutorials for all stitches and techniques used.

Das Tuch ist ein Spiel mit Fransen unterschiedlicher Länge - zum Teil in den sichelförmigen Teil eingebettet, zum Teil in langen Wellen nach unten hängend. Egal, wie Du es trägst, ob eng um den Hals oder nur locker übergeworfen, es ist immer genau das Richtige für den besonderen Auftritt!

Es liegt ein ganz besonderer Charme darin, unterschiedliche Fasern in einem Projekt zusammenzubringen. Besonders schön finde ich das, wenn die Fasern die gleiche Färbung haben. In diesem Tuch kombiniere ich ein kräftiges Rot auf Merino mit der etwas zarteren Variante auf luftigem Mohair.

Das Tuch wird aus Kettmaschen gehäkelt, mit zwei Nadelstärken. Die Anleitung enthält ausführlich bebilderte Lehrgänge zu allen benutzten Maschen und Techniken.
