Super quick and easy, these little turtles can be adjusted in so many ways! I love using variegated yarn with these little guys, but also make them as other fruit too…think lemons, plums, apples and limes for a little bit of fun. Change up the color of the sunflower petals to make a daisy, aster or a cosmos. With 6 different patterns, the possibilities to customize are endless!
As with many patterns, it is easy to adjust the look and size of your turtles using different yarn weights with a compatible hook.

Materials Needed:
4 mm (US size G) crochet hook
Scraps of worsted weight yarn in desired colors. I use Bernat Premium most often.
In other versions, I’ve used Bernat Blanket Super Bulky yarn with an 8mm hook which also works well and makes a larger turtle
One set of 7mm (1/4”) safety eyes
Polyester stuffing
Stitch marker, if desired
Tapestry needle to sew and weave in ends
