Miyabi 雅 is my interpretation of the Japanese aesthetic sense of the same name. For this design, I chose to focus on color.

Miyabi 雅 is here to inspire your creativity and love of color. It uses one of my favorite techniques—marling! Marling is such a simple yet transformative technique. When you hold two strands together, you create a completely new texture and color blend, bringing unexpected harmony and depth to your knitting.

Our Lix collection was crafted with marling in mind, and I love pairing it with highly variegated shades, especially from our Anime collection! This playful experimentation inspired Miyabi 雅.

I paired one richly variegated color with two complementary shades for a layered, heathered effect. My combinations? Howl & Sophie marled with bright Fluoro Morganite and sunny Sunburst for an energetic pop. For a different take, the Inko version transitions from Anemone to Sunburst, bringing a new dimension to both ends of the scarf.
