Mizu Kimono
This gently swaying kimono is knit in three pieces to your specifications for a custom fit.
Take 2 measurements, make and block your gauge swatch from your favorite dk or sport weight yarn, and plug your numbers into the formula to create an elegant piece that looks good on everyone.
The gauge listed is what I was getting on size 7s with dk yarn. Your gauge will be whatever looks good to you with your yarn.
I would purchase 2 skeins of your contrasting color yarn to be on the safe side, I used better than one and a half skeins of Madeline Tosh Hosta in the sample.
