MJ’s Hospital Hat is a very basic beanie but itty bitty sized for brand new babies. Recently my sister had her second child and I wanted to make her a quick little hat to take with her to the hospital. I looked for a pattern but didn’t find one I loved so I made my own. Knit it up in a solid color, add a couple stripes, choose 2x2 or 1x1 ribbing for the brim… so many more possibilities. Use this simple pattern as a blueprint to customize your little beanie however you’d like.
