MK#40 Baby Sweater
This seamless baby sweater is made top down with integrated neck and button bands. Having a button placket down a side of the yoke means there’s plenty of room for easing the sweater over baby’s head, and placing the buttons at the front avoids having them press into baby’s back.
With eyelet trim along the neck and hem band, a swing shape to add some style to the body and a curved shape to the hem my aim is to make a baby girl look very cutely sophisticated.
Like all minimal knits | DESIGNED baby clothes, MK#40 provides plenty of room to grow and the sleeves are designed to be rolled up when baby is at the younger end of the range.
The pictured sweater was made with Bendigo Woollen Mills 8ply Luxury machine washable wool in the colour Lavender.
Skill Level Advanced Beginner… even though it might include a technique you haven’t used before, the pattern contains simple, straightforward instructions and notes on where to look for more information.
