This cardigan is all about texture and style. It has a very simple, subtly embellished neckband, offset button closing all the way down to the hem, as well as yoke increases that are very easy to do and look very minimal.

Mostly cosy garter stitch, it has a slight A-line body shape and the lower half of the body has simple panels of knits and purls, using the same texturing technique as in the neckband.

Like all minimal knits | DESIGNED baby cardigans, its made top down and when the knitting is finished all we have to do is weave in the ends and sew on the buttons.

The pictured cardigan was made using Bendigo Woollen Mills 8ply Luxury 100% machine washable wool, in the colour Pumpkin Spice.
