MK#54 Child Pullover
This seamless child’s pullover is made top down with integrated neck and button bands, and when the knitting is finished all we have to do is weave in the ends and sew on the buttons.
Designed to suits girls and boys, there are no complicated stitches or patterns to remember, just a minimal alternative to the I-cord technique to start the neck band and finish the hem (I call it a purl curl), a garter button placket along the side of the front section, and a few easy short rows to lift the back neck of the pullover higher than the front of the neck band.
The pictured pullover was made using Mayflower Easy Care 8ply/DK 100% wool in the colour Dark Aquamarine.
Skill Level Easy… even though it might include a technique you haven’t used before, the pattern contains simple, straightforward instructions and notes on where to look for more information.
