This seamless child’s cardigan is made top down with integrated V-neck (it’s not very low, so that the child’s chest doesn’t get cold) and button bands in seed stitch, and the rest of the yoke is all stocking stitch. Then immediately after working the 3rd or 4th buttonhole, depending on the size, we work the rest of the cardigan body on seed stitch.

When it’s finished, we just need to block the cardigan to flatten the edges, weave in the ends and sew on the buttons.

The pictured pullover was made using Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 8ply/DK 100% wool in the colour Curry.
