A maddy laine knitting pattern that creates a great layering piece - without the bulk of a full-length cardigan. Wear as a shrug cardigan, a belt around your waist, or a wrap around your shoulders.

The cardigan is knit with a DK weight yarn in an openwork stitch, using a larger needle size. Add the short length of the garment to that combination and you have a fairly quick knit in your hands.
