THIS IS A KNITTING PATTERN, NOT SOCKS. Please read the pattern description.
Ever wanted to knit a chameleon sock? Well, now you can! This cold blooded creature joins Crikey! and Here be Dragons to tip the scales in favor of reptiles in my collection of wacky animal socks.
In the pattern you will find all knit instructions, and assembly directions. The pattern is 18 pages, so I hope you will find all you need.
Mlem is a color changing creature with bulbous eyes, a long, curling red tongue, a curled toe (with instructions for a more normal toe, should you so desire), an arched head, and adorable mittened feet.
Like a true chameleon, this pattern would shine in any color, and any sock/fingering weight yarn. You also have the option to omit the tongue, if you’d rather not be enveloped by such a sticky object.
Questions? I’m happy to help! Please use my email address linked at the top of the pattern, not Ravelry messenger.
