A mobius scarf (also known as an infinity scarf) is an excellent introduction to the concept of Mobius knitting. A Mobius band is a continuous loop that features a slight twist. In addition to scarves, this general shape can be utilized to make shawls, headbands, sweaters, hoods, and more.

The knitting pattern consists of knit and purl stitches.
In the instructions are a written description and a chart.
Written instructions for the “Moebius cast on” with pictures are also included.

I named Möbius Blue Mountain after the yarn from Jollyknits.
The yarn is ideal for this. Everything fits. The colors, thickness of the yarn and elasticity.

Of course you can also use other yarns.

Ein Möbius ist ein rund gestricktes Band, von der Mitte gleichzeitig nach oben und unten, und dabei in sich verdreht. Benannt ist er nach einem Mathematiker. Je nach Breite und Länge ist es ein Halswärmer oder ein Schultertuch, das um den Hals geschlungen und auch als Kapuzenschal getragen werden kann.

Das Strickmuster besteht aus rechten und linken Maschen.

Möbius Blue Mountain habe ich nach dem Garn von Jollyknits benannt.
