It seems as though I have been looking for that “perfect” slipper pattern for forever. So, rather than keep looking, I decided to design a pair for myself that incorporates all of the details I have been
looking for. And here you have it. A slipper sock
that begins with the clever moccasin toe. The
stitches of that toe run uninterrupted up the arch and around the back of the heel where you kitchener them together. I love that detail.

Although I recommend a “try-on-as-you-go” method and have you tailor the pattern to your foot, I offer two sizes here, an average Man’s and average Woman’s foot.

Notions: Locking Stitch marker (to indicate the beginning of the round,. tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape.

Note about gauge. I purposely used a smaller-than-recommended needle size to get a firmer fabric for these slippers and used a little less than 1 skein for each slipper.
