The Mochi Crop Top is a v-neck, half-backless crop top named after my cat, Mochi.

This is a great beginner top because you only need to know how to knit, purl, do some simple decreases and pick up stitches.

This is also a great stash-busting project for you to experiment with different colors in different amounts and get rid of some of those scraps and smaller skeins.

Sizes: XS, (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)

To fit a bust measurement of:
29-31 (32-36, 37-40, 41-44, 45-48) (49-52, 53-56, 57-60, 61-63)”/ 73.6-78.7 (81.3-91.4, 94-101.6, 104.14-111.76, 114.3-121.9) (124.4-132, 134.6-142.24, 144.8- 152.4, 154.9-160)cm

Materials: Stitch markers, stitch holder/ scrap yarn, tapestry needle

Suggested Yarn: The yarn used in the sample is Wonderfluff in the color Hare Heather. You can use any bulky weight (or weight needed to obtain gauge) yarn for this project, or even hold multiple strands of smaller weight yarns together to obtain a bulky weight for a fun stash-busting project.

Yardage:
229-259 (268-288, 303-329, 340-360, 379-399) (420-440, 460-480, 495-515, 538-558)yrds

Gauge: 14 sts x 23 rows = 4x4 inches in stockinette on size US 10/ 6 mm needles, worked flat and blocked

Suggested Needles: US10/ 6mm straight and circular needles (only used for the optional v-neck border)

Techniques: You will need to know how to knit, purl, knit 2 together, purl 2 together, pick up stitches, and seam
