These Christmas coasters are crocheted with the ‘Mochila’ technique, tapestry crochet in the back loop.

When you use one of the yarns mentioned above, with a 2 mm hook, the coasters will be about 10 cm / 4 inch in diameter.

You can use other yarns than mentioned above, just make sure that you use a thinner hook than the label mentions.
The size of the coasters can be different when you use other yarn.
