Are you just as excited about tapestry crochet and specific about crocheting a Mochila bag like me? Then, this extensive crochet pattern is really nice for you!

The height of the bag is approximately 28 cm (11”) and the diameter of the bottom is approximately 20 cm (7.9”). There are two options for the strap: a woven strap pattern and a crocheted strap pattern.

You recieve a PDF file (in English) of 35 pages where all steps are described in detail and are extensive illustrated with photo’s (a sneek peek you kan find above at the photo’s). Examples of what is described in the PDF file:

• pattern of the bottom as an image and written out
• pattern of the side of the bag as an image and written out

Additional, in de appendices you will find some extra information, for example yarn over and yarn under crocheting, making a magic loop and changing of colors.

The bag is crocheted with (cotton) yarn suitable for crochet needle 2-3 mm (US 0 - 3, UK/Canada 14 - 11). For example: Phildar Phil coton 3, Lana Grossa Cotone, SMC Catania, By Claire No. 1, Scheepjes Larra or Pingouin Esterel).
You will need in total about 7 - 9 skeins (350 - 450 gram) of yarn, dependent when you are weaving or crocheting the strap.

Of couse you could also choose other colors then my bag. Would you like a less colourfull bag? Choose 5 different shades of one color, for example different shads of black/grey, brown/creme or blue.
