Mock Cable Headband
This stitch pattern is from A Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Barbara Walker, and is displayed to its best advantage when using a single colour (or tones of one colour), or a tweed-look yarn.
The headband is worked in a multiple of 4 plus 2 stitches, over 4 rows, repeated. It can also be worn around the neck if you want to protect your skin from a scratchy scarf.
