Whilst away on holiday, and desperate for a crochet project, I visited a local department store which happened to have a small, basic stock of yarn. I found some beautifully soft 80% Acrylic, 20% Wool yarn, in several pretty pastel shades made by Jarol, which they call Shetland Mist.

This yarn inspired me to make a “bobble” hat. Everyone seemed to be wearing hats with the detachable fur pompoms, so this is what I made.

Although the hat is described in one size, (adult medium) it is easy to work less or more rows to fit the necessary head measurement.
