This lacey set is as fun to knit as it is to wear. The tam begins with a tubular cast-on to provide a stretchy brim and then stitches are increased to create the slightly slouchy shape. The scarf is worked in two halves, each from the end to the center, then grafter together. The subtle variegation in the yarn provides beautiful color depth and visual interest. Because the stitch pattern is easy to memorize, both projects make good companions during holiday travels.
