Inspired by famous modern artwork by Rothko and others, this cowl is a perfect union of clean lines of basic brioche in two colors and a free-hand color placement of uneven blocks. I-cord edgings are formed at the same time as the rest of the cowl. Make it as a scarf, or join cast-on and bind-off edges for a long cowl, which can be worn in many different ways. Suggestions for modifications of width and the length are given in the pattern for your convenience.

Colors used:
Taranaki (color A) three skeins,
Saddleback (color B) one skein,
Grey Salt (color C) one skein,
Kiwi Fruit (color D) one skein.
